Overview

Bandits lead by Matt the Mute enter a bar and kill multiple people. John Wayne arrives in a town to find the occupants of the saloon have been brutally gunned down. The sheriff duly arrives (after the event, of course) and "Randy" is arrested as the prime suspect. He is busted out by Roberta Vaughn and determines to find the culprits and prove his innocence - and to get the gal!. It's all a bit routine, but Wayne, and the quirky contributions from Gabby Hayes as "Matt the Mute" keep it interesting for the 50-odd minutes it all takes.
