Overview

Takeru Suda is a poor novelist who has been in Tokyo for five years and has yet to get published. One day, Takeru happens to drop in at an antique shop, where he is captivated by a fountain pen as beautiful as a jewel. The owner of the antique shop calls out to Takeru, who is staring at it motionless. "I want you to be my first reader." If he can keep this promise, she will sell him the fountain pen at a discount.
