Don't be fooled. Although her surname is Bahrani, Sara isn't from Bahrain. She is an Iraqi actress who quickly rose to prominence with her role in the Ramadan TV series Khan Al Thahab. With her degrees in business administration and accounting, as well as her work writing and editing articles, it's hard to imagine she would become one of Iraq's most famous actresses overnight, yet that's what happened. To viewers' dismay, she takes on the character of a greedy and scheming wife of a gold jeweler, ready to ruin the day of her family rivals. Her evil acting was so superb that she was on the receiving end of frustrated watchers on social media, who vented their anger at the show's antagonist. Personally,Sara Al Bhrany struggled through several episodes, such as the loss of her mother at a young age, but she has channeled her love of life in projects she's passionate about. She's a mother to two children, and believe it or not, she's still studying, only recently earning her Master's degree.
